Microblading & Ombre brows
PRE TREATMENT
-
If you have any known medical conditions or under medical supervision please let me know.
-
You can not have microblading if you are pregnant or breast feeding.
-
Do not take Asprin, niacin, ibruprofen or vitamin E 48=72 hours prior to treatment unless absolutely medically necessary.
-
you are unable to have microblading if you have been on any acne medication such as accutanes & can not be considered until this has not been used for a minimum of 12 months.
-
you must stop the use of RETINOLS & Retain A products at least 7 days prior to treatment longer is better & avoid using until 30 days post top up.
-
Do not use active skin care or have any form of professional facials, chemical peels or LED treatments 4 weeks before microblading.
-
If there are any Blemishes, pimples, active cold sores or skin irritations treatment can not go ahead until cleared up,
-
If you have botox treatments this needs to be 4 weeks either side of microblading & prefrably not in between the initital & top up treatments.
-
Avoid direct sun, sunbeds, fake tan & sweating directly before & after treatment for 14 days, avoid having a tan or wearing fake tan on the face prior to treatment this would require the need to reschedule.
-
Avoid drinking ALCHOL 24hrs before treatment & CAFFINE directly before treatment, this helps to minimise bleeding, oozing & swelling post treatment,
-
Avoid working out the day of your treatment both directly before & after.
POST TREATMENT
For first 14 DAYS
-
Avoid water & keep BROWS DRY for 14 days, the treatment is dry healing to maintain colour & allow to fully heal before they can get wet. don't worry this is easier than it sounds & hair washes are still possible.
-
Avoid all steam treatments, swimming, exercise causing sweating, avoid working out the day of treatment, sweating can result in premature fading during the healing process,
-
Be careful with cooking steams ensuring heat & moisture do not come in contact with brows,
-
do not pick or rub the brows during the healing period,
-
Avoid any skin care or make up over the brows during the healing period,
-
If the brows ooz clear fluid while healing this can be normal follow the aftercare leaflet provided.
-
All will be explained during your consultation & appointment.
-
Trust the process!
